Services Held for Builder J. A. Rottman
Builder Joel A. Rottman, 49, died of cancer last Monday, and services were held on Wednesday at the Church of the Hills in Forest Lawn, Burbank.
An architecture graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Rottman was a founder of Urban West, a Santa Monica-based developer of residential communities throughout California, in partnership with Norman Burman.
Prior to this association, Rottman served for 10 years in executive roles with the Larwin Group, Beverly Hills, from purchasing agent to senior vice president.
Rottman is survived by his wife, Astrid, and six children.
