Former Boy Scout leader Kenneth Steelmon, 25, of Westminster has been sentenced to 23 years in state prison by an Orange County Superior Court judge after a jury convicted him of 47 counts of sexually molesting young boys. Steelmon, according to testimony during his trial, committed a variety of sexual acts, including fondling, oral copulation and sodomy, with seven boys ranging in age from 7 to 15. Five of the boys were members of a Boy Scout troop he organized two years ago. Steelmon was a computer technician.
