‘Sneaky Pay Raise’ in L.A.

Mayor Robin Hood Bradley and his Band of Council Members said that the city treasury was almost bare. There was not money there for additional police.
So Mayor Robin Hood Bradley and his Band of Council Members tried to sell the voters Proposition 1 and the voters put it on the run.
However, Mayor Robin Hood and his Band of Council Members made another search of the city treasury that was supposed to be almost bare. And lo and behold, they found enough money there to vote salary raises for their own care.
And now Mayor Robin Hood Bradley and his merry Band of Council Members will hide in the forest or take a trip away from the city’s crime and grime (at city or lobbyist expense) until this furor dies away.
