Orange : Resident Found Shot Dead in His Apartment
An Orange man was found shot to death Monday in his apartment. Police say they are seeking clues as to the motive.
Michael Patrick Cutshaw, 21, was dead on arrival about 7:30 p.m. at UCI Medical Center in Orange from a single gunshot wound to the chest, according to Police Lt. Mike Leintz. Cutshaw’s body was discovered by a relative at the apartment in the 200 block of W. Wilson Street that Cutshaw shared with family members, Leintz said.
Cutshaw had been shot sometime earlier in the day, according to police.
Leintz said the case is unusual because officers have been unable to locate witnesses who saw or heard anything. “We have no suspects whatsoever,” he said. There were no signs of robbery or a struggle having taken place, Leintz said.
