Local concern for public safety after the hijacking of a TWA jet and seizure of American hostages has prompted the appointment of three committees to study security systems at Los Angeles International Airport, in city and county buildings and in area harbors. Sam Cordova, foreman of the Los Angeles County Grand Jury, announced that the three committees--the airport security committee, the seaports committee and the city and county buildings security committee--will be made up of members of the new 1985-86 county grand jury.
