Meese’s Attack on Supreme Court
Meese appears to base his criticism of the Supreme Court’s decisions on government neutrality toward religion on the same sources he bases his understanding of what his religion wants of him--personal intuition and second-hand authorities.
If he were to read the Constitution as it stands, along with the firsthand writings of the founders of our nation, he could not help but see that complete, total separation of church and state was intended and that decisions toward that end are correct.
