Pet Brutality

I went to market the other day. It was boiling hot, but I was out of food.

Two women parked their car, no shade, rolled up the windows almost to the top and dashed wildly into the market.

There was a little dog with them who frantically tried to follow them.

I pursued one woman and told her it was too hot in the car. She replied they would be back in a minute.

I came back and tried again. I begged her to roll down the windows and I’d stand guard so the little one wouldn’t get out. She refused!

It has been published in the papers time and time again that a car in direct sunshine, no ventilation, becomes an oven in 5 minutes!

Common sense should tell us this.

Why are people brutal to their own pets?
