that left-out feeling
Re “A Simple Recipe for a Satisfying Cookbook Collection (June 23) : No cookbook collection would be complete without the mention of “Prize Winning Recipes,” written by Selma Glasser (1985) and published by Franklin Watts. You should know that every recipe in that book took a prize, either a large amount of cash, some merchandise or lavish trips. Therefore the recipes must be good! Some have taken as much as $40,000 from the Pillsbury Co.
For your further information, the author is now living in Burbank after completing a tour of promoting the book throughout the country. It would, therefore, have been especially noteworthy to have mentioned this book along with the others.
