BUT WHOSE NAME IS ABOVE THE TITLE?

When Disney broke the news the other day about plans for its expensive, 12-minute, Francis Coppola-directed, George Lucas executive-produced 3-D musical fantasy, “Captain Eo,” it devoted its three-page press release to star Michael Jackson . . . and neglected to mention another star, Anjelica Huston. According to her aggravated agent, Yvette Bikoff, the actress plays the Witch of the World, who is turned into a magnificent queen at the touch of Jackson’s magic wand.

Complained Bikoff: “I think it was very unfair that Disney failed to recognize an actress who is making such a considerable contribution to the production. Anjelica’s performance is a very integral part of the film--it’s not a walk-on at all.”

A Disney spokesman said Huston was left out largely because the release was prepared before Disney learned of Huston’s casting: “We felt that rather than just adding her on to the already prepared release that we should announce her involvement, which is substantial, in a subsequent release.”
