The Schneider/Tobishima Venture has announced plans to build and manage the remaining three office buildings in Hutton Centre at the Newport (55) Freeway and MacArthur Boulevard in Santa Ana.
The development entity is a joint venture between Schneider/Hutton Associates, formed when the operating company and certain assets of Hutton Associates were acquired by Pittsburgh-based Schneider Group of Companies, and Tobishima Development Corp., the U. S. subsidiary of Tokyo-based Tobishima Corp.
Hutton Centre is a $300-million, 46-acre master-planned complex that, when completed, will include eight office towers, a 173-room hotel, a theater and several restaurants. Tobishima will also become a joint partner in an existing 150,000-square-foot building and two restaurants.
