David W. Parrent has been chosen executive vice president and chief of operations officer of Affiliated Lenders Corp., La Jolla. Previously, Parrent served as senior vice president and loan division manager for Sun Savings & Loan Assn.

J. Kelley Younger, managing editor of Architectural Digest magazine and executive editor of New Venture Development, is now associated with the architectural and interior design firm of Douglas Barnard Inc., Santa Monica.

William V. Harvey, manager of the Santa Monica income property office of Wells Fargo Realty Finance, has been named senior vice president.

Ed A. Lawton has retired from Continental Land Title, Los Angeles, a subsidiary of Lawyer’s Title Insurance Corp. Lawton served as executive vice president of Continental Land Title and as a vice president of Lawyer’s Title.

Bruce T. Crable, formerly with Chevron Construction Inc., Santa Monica, has been appointed construction manager at M. J. Brock & Sons Inc., Los Angeles.

Judith N. Harry J. Kelly, a former partner at Dwyer-Curlett & Co., has been named vice president and manager of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Finance Services, Los Angeles office; Randy J. Durham has been named a property manager in the San Fernando Valley office of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Management Services; Harry Oliver, resident manager of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services, Los Angeles office, has been named a first vice president and John H. Peckham has been promoted to marketing director of investment properties for its western division.

Fred Sands, president of Fred Sands Realtors, received a plaque of appreciation from the city of Los Angeles for his generous donation toward the landscaping of the Brentwood Gateway, an island divider on Wilshire Boulevard.

Albert C. Martin, partner in Albert C. Martin Associates, Los Angeles, has been chosen as a judge for the 1985 Architectural Awards of Excellence competition sponsored by the American Institute of Steel Construction.

Marvin Mesirow and James J. McGovern have joined Bankers Property Group as partners. Mesirow, an attorney, served as president of Great Western Cities, a land development firm, and McGovern was in media sales and marketing.

Kathryn Rousek has joined Wells Fargo Realty Advisors, Marina del Rey, as assistant vice president in the asset management division.

Phillip D. Royster, an executive with Grubb & Ellis Co.’s South Bay office, has been appointed senior vice president of commercial brokerage services for the firm’s new Pacifc Southwest Region.

Charles F. Queenan has been named vice president of public relations for Martin Advertising, real estate-oriented firm, Tustin.

Brian Myers and Kathy Kronk have been named project managers at Tarantello & Co., Newport Beach. Both will be responsible for conducting real estate valuation and market research studies.

The following appointments have been announced by the Los Angeles office of Jones Lang Wooton, real estate consultants. They include David M. Wall’s appointment as partner in charge of the Western region property management; Thomas G. Miller as director of investments, and Tony Acerra, formerly with Trizec Properties Inc., who has joined the firm as senior vice president and director of leasing.

Ida L. Moore, with more than 15 years experience in marketing real estate in Southern California, has been named director of sales for Roberts Group’s new Fairways at Wood Ranch community in Simi Valley.

Judy Christy has been named sales manager for the newest Fred Sands Realty office at 12345 Ventura Blvd. in Studio City.

Daniel W. Hancock has been named division manager for Shapell Industries of Northern California Inc., Milpitas.

John Luedtke has been appointed partner in the Lincoln Property Co., Los Angeles. He will be responsible for residential development and will operate from the firm’s new office at 4567 Telephone Road in Ventura.

Richard D. Puntillo has been named president and chief executive officer of the Family Backed Mortgage Assn., Oakland, a company noted for originating the Grannie Mae and Daddy Mac home mortgage plans. Puntillo has served as chairman of the Marin County Grand Jury and on legislative committees of the California Bankers’ Assn.

Cohen+Dichi, developer of Figueroa Plaza, has announced the appointment of two senior vice presidents, Niles Lundahl, property management, and Harold S. Tsuchiya, supervising architect.

John Gormly and Basil Johnson, veteran members of the management staff at Oltmans Construction Co., Whittier, have been named vice president of marketing and vice president of real estate, respectively.

Five vice presidents have been named at Widom/Wein & Partners Inc., Los Angeles.
