Among the 130 casualties in the crash of Delta Flight 191 at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport was tennis resort developer Ian Laver, 45, of Miami. Laver, a cousin of Rod Laver, was accompanying his 12-year-old son Richard to San Diego, where Richard was to play in the U.S. Tennis Assn.’s Boys’ 12-and-Under Championships next week.

Richard is listed in serious condition at a Dallas hospital.

Ian was the driving force behind the development of Laver’s International, the Delray Beach tennis resort where the Lipton’s International Players Championship was played this year.
