Suspected Gang Member Shot to Death

A suspected gang member was shot to death Sunday while celebrating the baptism of his newborn son, and two men suspected of being rival gang members were arrested on suspicion of murder.
Fernando Gonzales, 22, of El Monte died at the home of his in-laws in Baldwin Park.
Police later arrested James Garcia, 23, and Rudy Ortega, 21, both of Baldwin Park, who witnesses identified as having been involved in a confrontation with Gonzales about an hour earlier. Detectives said they were seeking a third suspect, Michael Mario Castillo, 18, of Baldwin Park.
