Cubic Corp. reported that earnings rose 54% to $4 million for the third quarter ended June 30 while revenues grew 34% to $87.6 million. Income grew 10% to $11.7 million and revenues jumped 21% to $241 million for the first nine months of the year. Record new orders of $281 million led to the increases, said Chief Executive Walter J. Zable.
