Charles H. Black has joined Pertron Controls Corp. in the new position of vice chairman. Black, 59, recently retired as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Kaiser Steel in Fontana. Pertron, based in Chatsworth, manufactures computerized welding controls, mainly for the auto industry.
