Lear Siegler Reports Record Sales, Income

Santa Monica-based Lear Siegler reported record sales and earnings for the fiscal year ended June 30. Sales increased 22% to $2.37 billion and earnings rose 18% to $100.7 million.

For the fourth quarter, the company reported record net earnings of $34.67 million, up 19%, while sales of $633.9 million were down slightly from last year.

Current-year operations include results of Bangor Punta, which was acquired Feb. 1, 1984.
