Suggestions on Schools: Before deciding what to do with two closed elementary schools, the Westminster School District will take suggestions from a committee of residents. Land School, 15151 Temple St., and Willmore School, 7122 Maple St., were closed in June because of declining enrollment, Supt. Donald Stuckey said. A committee set up last year recommended which schools to close, and the board subsequently selected the two elementary schools. All interested residents are invited to apply for the Citizens’ Committee on School Leasing, Stuckey said. Residents must send a letter of intent to the superintendent at 14121 Cedarwood Ave.
