Daniel International Corp., a Greenville, S.C. unit of Fluor Corp., has been awarded a $210 million contract by Fort Howard Paper Co., officials from Irvine-based Fluor announced Tuesday. Daniel will design and construct the first phase of a $1 billion paper mill north of Savannah in Effingham County, Ga. When completed, the mill is expected to produce more than 1,500 tons of tissues, towels and napkin products daily.
