Two executives of a metals treatment company and the firm itself pleaded innocent Friday to disposing of hazardous wastes in Chollas Creek.
The president of California Creative Dynamics Inc., Tremaine Gearhart, 55, and the vice president, Robert Gloede, 52, were ordered released on their own recognizance by Municipal Court Judge Robert Stahl Jr.
The judge set a Sept. 27 preliminary hearing. Prosecutor Duane Shinnick had no objection to the men being released with no bail. The firm and the executives are charged with six counts of polluting by allegedly draining a caustic solution into a storm drain that led to the creek. The solution was used in the chemical milling of aluminum.
