Designer Sought

Does anyone remember a costume designer called Dolly Tree?

Between 1921-1927 she designed for the theater in London and Paris. Moving to the United States in 1927, she designed for the Paramount Circuit and Capitol Stage Shows and various Broadway shows. However, I have only been able to verify her involvement in the following: two Mae West plays, “Diamond Lil” (1928) and “The Pleasure Man” (1928); George M. Cohan’s “Billie” (1928); Lew Leslie’s “International Revue” (1932); she contributed to Florenz Ziegfeld’s “Whoopee” (1928).

In 1929 she was brought to Hollywood by Winfield Sheehan and engaged to 20th Century Fox as a fashion creator. She moved to MGM in 1932 where she stayed until 1942 and married a Navy Lt. Thomas Kimes.

I am a researcher collecting material for her biography and would be interested to hear from anyone who can help in any way.
