Three corporate offices in various stages of construction are being co-ventured by the Sammis Co. in Santa Ana, Irvine and Newbury Park.
Phase 2 has been started on the 33-acre, $60-million Harbor Corporate Park, in partnership with Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. The project, located on Harbor Boulevard at Sunflower in Santa Ana., consists of four two-story buildings ranging from 25,000 to 46,000 square feet.
The firm, in partnership with Bankers Life of Des Moines, Iowa, has broken ground on its new $20-million, 167,000 square-foot Corporate Pointe on Jamboree and Barranca in Irvine. A third project under construction, co-ventured with Metropolitan Life, is the $47-million Conejo Corporate Center on Rancho Conejo Boulevard in Newbury Park.
Presto Food Project
A $6.5-million design-and-build corporate headquarters and advanced manufacturing facility for Presto Food Products Inc. is now under construction in the City of Industry at 18275 and 18225 E. Arenth Ave.
The facility, to be completed in December, will more than double the capacity of the company’s current headquarters at 929 East 14th Street. Completion is scheduled for December.
Construction is under way on the $6.3-million Setco Inc. corporate headquarters at 4875 E. Hunter Ave., Irvine, in the new Santa Fe Corporate Center.
The 12-acre project will include warehouse and manufacturing facilities, as well as a two-story attached office building, for a total of 275,000 square feet.
Beaty Purchases Acreage
Beaty Development Co. has purchased the 2.6-acre Lot 1 of the Cornerstone Corporate Center located between Mira Mesa Boulevard and Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, for $1,557,270. Iliff, Thorn & Co. represented both parties.
Beaty development has broken ground on the site for the construction of a three-level, 60,000-square-foot office building, scheduled for completion in January.
