Salary Renegotiation Should Work Both Ways
I’d like to see a clause in players’ contracts that would allow players to renegotiate if they have a great year, but I’d like the contract to state that the owners are able to renegotiate after the player has a terrible year.
I would really like to see those ballplayers who are renegotiating their contracts tell the people living in East L.A. and Watts that they are having trouble making ends meet on their current $500,000 (or whatever) salary.
