The division, which deals with bovine artificial insemination, was acquired by Landmark Genetics, a new company controlled by Clark A. Nelson, a senior vice president of Carnation. Details of the transaction were not reported. Last week, Carnation agreed to sell its milling unit to another Carnation executive, also for an undisclosed price. Carnation set up the genetics division in 1972, when the company acquired Genetics Inc. of Hughson, Calif.
