The California Transportation Commission has approved the allocation of $410,000 for construction of a sound wall at the southwest corner of the San Gabriel River Freeway and Pomona Freeway interchange. The 14-foot-high wall will run between the limits of Pellisier Street south to Kathleen Street. Construction is expected to begin in February, 1986, and be completed by October of that year.
