Cornelius (Swede) Righter, football coach at College of the Pacific (now University of the Pacific) in 1921-32, died at 88 in Dayton, Ohio. He compiled a 54-34-4 record at COP. Righter also won a gold medal in the 1920 Olympics as a member of the U.S. rugby team.
