Driver Killed in Accident: The driver of a catering truck was killed Monday after his vehicle collided with a delivery truck at Taft Avenue and Main Street, police said. The victim’s identity was being withheld pending notification of his family, a police spokesman said. The catering truck was traveling west on Taft Avenue shortly after noon when it collided with the delivery truck, which was attempting to turn left onto Main. The driver of the catering truck was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
