Mississippi Valley State quarterback Willie Totten threw four touchdown passes on the way to setting an NCAA record Saturday as the Delta Devils scored 61 points in the second half en route to a 80-14 romp over Bishop College.

Totten, a senior, set an NCAA record for all divisions with 110 career touchdown passes, breaking the record of 106 set by Portland State’s Neil Lomax between 1977 and 1980.

Totten, who left the game in the fourth quarter, completed 25 of 44 passes for 339 yards.

The Delta Devils are 3-0. Bishop College is 1-2.
