A $585,000 street improvement project has begun along Dumont Avenue. Schuler Engineering, an Anaheim-based company, is making the repairs and improvements on Dumont between Artesia Boulevard and 183rd Street, just west of the 605 Freeway.
The project includes installation and construction of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, curb access ramps for the handicapped, street lights, landscaping and sewer and water mains.
Completion of the project is expected in late November.
