Rams-49ers to Be Moved If Angels Are in Series

If the Angels reach the World Series, the Ram-49er game scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 27 at Anaheim will be switched to Candlestick Park in San Francisco, a National Football League spokesman said Tuesday.

The seventh game of the World Series is scheduled to be played in the American League park that day. The football game will be moved as soon as the Angels win the league championship series, although a seventh Series game might not be necessary.

“We have to give our fans some notice,” the NFL spokesman, Joe Browne, said.

The Ram-49er game scheduled for San Francisco on Monday night, Dec. 9, will then be played at Anaheim.

The Rams also are scheduled to play at noon (CDT) at Kansas City on Sunday, Oct. 20, the second day of the World Series. If the Royals are in it, the baseball game will start at 7:30 p.m. in the same two-stadium complex.
