Somethingwonderful Wins Oak Tree Feature
Somethingwonderful, under a strong hand ride by Laffit Pincay, rallied in the final furlong and won the $45,000 Oak Tree feature race by three-quarters of a length over Dancebel Thursday at Santa Anita.
The winner was timed in 1:35 2/5 for a mile over the main track and paid $6, $4.40 and $3. Dancebel, ridden by Patrick Valenzuela, returned $7.60 and $5.20, and Glacial Stream, ridden by Chris McCarron, paid $6.80 to show.
