ORANGE COUNTY
Michael C. Ellis has been named vice president of land development for the Irvine Community Development Company, a division of The Irvine Company. Ellis, 42, had been with Covington Homes Northern California for four years and was president of that firm for two years before his appointment to the new position. ICD develops residential communities in Irvine, Newport Beach, Tustin and Orange.
