San Bernardino Race Crash Kills 1, Hurts 5

A car went out of control during a race at the Orange Show Stadium in San Bernardino Saturday night and plowed into a group of people standing in front of the pits, killing one and injuring five, the San Bernardino Police Department reported.
The dead man was identified by the San Bernardino County coroner’s office as Francis Warnke, 37, of Riverside.
Jeff Henson, 15, of Corona, was in critical condition at San Bernardino County Medical Center with multiple broken bones, and Scott Mills, 19, of Hawthorne, was in satisfactory condition with a broken leg, a hospital spokeswoman said. Three others injured in the same accident were treated and released, she said.
