Marvelous Marvin Hagler and Thomas Hearns will meet in a rematch almost a year to the day after their first middleweight championship fight, provided they get by their respective opponents Nov. 14, promoter Bob Arum said.

Arum said the rematch would take place April 14 at Caesars Palace, site of Hagler’s spectacular third-round knockout of Hearns last April 15.

Hagler first will defend his undisputed middleweight title against John Mugabi, while on the same Las Vegas card, Hearns will fight middleweight James Shuler.
