Dave Brokaw said the gunman was in the process of purchasing two tapes about 9:30 p.m. at Peer Records, 17090 Magnolia St., when he pulled a black, .45-caliber pistol from his waistband and demanded money. The man is described as about 25 years old, 6 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds. He was described as having a short black afro and brown eyes with a scar above the left, and was wearing a brown-striped sweater.
