Two 15-year-olds who belong to an Asian gang have been charged with murdering an 18-year-old and attempting to murder a 16-year-old outside a Santa Monica teen nightclub. Toon Sayanath and Phetsavath Phomprasent, both Laotian immigrants who live in the mid-Wilshire District, are accused in the shotgun slaying of Christian Jepson of Santa Monica and the wounding of Solomon Harris of Westchester outside the 321 Club on Santa Monica Boulevard, said district attorney’s spokesman Al Albergate. Both suspects are members of the LA Oriental Boys, a group that includes Cambodians and Thais as well as Laotians, he said. The killing occurred Oct. 19 after an altercation inside the club that led to a fistfight outside.
