A Sacramento Municipal judge threw out the last remaining charges in a child molestation case in which the prosecutor once alleged that “snuff films” had been made of children being killed. Charges were dismissed against defendants Arthur Dill, 33, and Veryl Baker, 59, after a lengthy preliminary hearing. Charges against three other defendants were dismissed earlier. Several of the children testified during the hearing for Dill and Baker that they lied to investigators about being molested because their grandmother, Doris Bell, persuaded them to tell of being molested at satanic rituals and mock weddings.
