Catcher Steve Yeager of the Dodgers and first baseman Bruce Bochte of the Oakland A’s increased the number of baseball players filing for free agency to 29.

For Bochte, it’s the third time he has been a free agent. He came into the major leagues with the Angels but was traded to Cleveland. He hit .295 last season, with 61 runs batted in.

Yeager, who played in only 51 games this year, hit .207, with 9 RBIs.
