The state Fish and Game Commission has approved the capture of three more California condors as part of an effort to expand a captive breeding program for the endangered species. The commission also endorsed a federal plan to release at least three captive condors into the wild by the spring of 1987. Six condors are known to exist in the wild, with 21 in captivity at the Los Angeles Zoo and the San Diego Wild Animal Park.
