Bob Dylan has settled an assault lawsuit filed by a free-lance photographer who grappled with the singer-songwriter at Los Angeles International Airport in 1983, court sources said. Gary L. Aloian’s $100,000 federal court suit was scheduled for trial Tuesday before U.S. District Judge A. Wallace Tashima, but was dismissed under the agreement reached last week. Settlement terms were not included in the court file, and Aloian’s attorney, Elizabeth Ratner, said she could not comment. Aloian, 34, claimed Dylan placed him in a headlock after Aloian tried to take photos of the singer April 2, 1983.
