Padres Hire Bowa to Manage Las Vegas Team
The Padres have hired veteran shortstop Larry Bowa to manage their Triple-A farm at Las Vegas. Bowa will succeed Bob Cluck, who managed the Stars for two years before being told by the Padres that he would not hold that job next season.
Bowa, a 16-year major league veteran, played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs and New York Mets.
