I am furious! As a faithful viewer of “Cagney & Lacey,” I am appalled at this season’s pedestrian offerings. While the story lines are questionable, our principals have been reduced to banalities of bickering and running through dog shows after perpetrators. Where are the poignant scenes, sensitive story lines and solid direction of past seasons which gave this show the credibility to bring it back from cancellation? From the looks of this season’s offerings, I would have to sadly give the series a thumbs down.
