Australians to Play USC at Sports Arena

USC’s basketball team will open the season tonight at 8 with an exhibition game against the Australian national team at the Sports Arena.

USC Coach Stan Morrison said he will go with a veteran starting lineup of point guard Larry Friend, wingmen Derrick Dowell, Brad Winslow and Kevin Steward and center Rod Keller. The Aussies are 1-5 in games with Pacific 10 teams.
