‘THE FALL GUY’ RETURNING TO ABC

“The Fall Guy” is down but not out, ABC said Wednesday.

The four-year-old action series, which stars Lee Majors as a stunt man who also works as a bounty hunter, had been knocked off the schedule a few weeks ago after getting poor ratings against NBC’s “The Cosby Show” on Thursdays at 8 p.m., but ABC has decided to bring it back Nov. 30 as the replacement for another weak-performing series, “Hollywood Beat.”

“Hollywood Beat,” a first-year police show that has been airing Saturdays at 8 p.m., will continue in production, ABC said, presumably to return in another time period later in the season.
