A Norwalk man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for molesting four Southeast area children, Deputy Dist. Atty. Paul Rugnetta said. The sentence was pronounced Monday by Judge Robert W. Armstrong in Norwalk Superior Court.
Don Idle, 46, pleaded no contest last month to the charges of molesting one boy and three girls. Idle molested the boy while serving as a volunteer with the Norwalk Boy Scouts; he molested the girls while working as a baby sitter, the deputy district attorney said. Idle has been held in County Jail since February.
