The second of two bodies found in Angeles National Forest Wednesday has been identified as Kenneth Jamir, 28, the boyfriend of the woman whose body was found near his at the bottom of an ice-covered slope.

Jamir was identified Friday by his father, William, of Merritt Island, Fla., the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said.

The coroner’s office said Jamir died of head injuries. His death was listed as accidental, as was that of his girlfriend, Christine M. Spezzano, 22.

The couple, both from Sherman Oaks, were reported missing by friends when they did not return from a drive to the mountains Sunday.

Authorities speculated that the couple decided to walk down the 850-foot slope to a picnic area after a tire blew out on Spezzano’s car. They apparently lost their footing and slipped down a long patch of ice called an ice chute.
