Team That ‘Backs In’ at Least Is One That’s Back in the Rose Bowl

Where are all of the UCLA fans who were crying that the Trojans backed into the Rose Bowl last year because of losses to the Bruins and Notre Dame? I guess UCLA fans should qualify as experts in backing into the Rose Bowl as it seems that’s the only way they can get there.

At least USC earned the bid last year by beating Washington. This year, just like in ‘83, the Bruins are Pac-10 champions by default, earning the bid while watching their televisions.
