Hubert Green, 1985 U.S. Open champion, shot a five-under-par 67 to take a two-stroke lead with a 215 in the third round of the $400,000 Casio World Open golf tournament at Kaimon, Japan.
In a four-way tie for second were Australian Wayne Grady and three Japanese--Tsuneyuki Nakajima, the leading money winner on the Japan PGA tour this year; Nobumitsu Yuhara, and Hiroshi Ishii. Nakajima shot a 66, Yuhara a 69, and Ishii a 71. Grady shot the day’s best score of 65.
