Angel free agent Juan Beniquez hit a two-run homer in the Puerto Rican Winter League to help the Santurce Cangrejeros to an 8-1 victory over the Arecibo Lobos at Arecibo, Puerto Rico.

Beniquez, a 14-year veteran outfielder who has played with the Angels since 1981, hit his homer in the sixth inning, and Ulises Sierra pitched a six-hitter in improving his record to 4-0.
