Crash at Rail Crossing in N.Y. Kills 3 in Auto

TIVOLI, N.Y. —
An Amtrak train struck a car Sunday at a crossing in this Hudson River community, killing three persons in the car, authorities said.
There were no immediate reports of other injuries in the afternoon accident at the crossing, which has neither warning lights nor a barrier, said Dutchess County Sheriff Fred Scoralick. Authorities were investigating the crash.
