Diamond Bar : Park Ground Breaking Set
Development of a new county park at Golden Springs Road and Sylvan Glen Avenue will begin with ground-breaking ceremonies at 2:30 p.m. today led by Supervisor Pete Schabarum. The Anden Group, builder of homes around the site, will plant grass, install an irrigation system and build a parking lot on the 10 acres that will be known as Sylvan Glen Park. County funds have been budgeted for two lighted playing fields, walkways and fencing. Completion is scheduled for April.
